Last Saturday, Faridah, Idil and I had a lunch-time cook out: Fusili spirals with mushrooms and crabstick in creamy alfredo.
Yay! I love cooking! Somehow or other, I enjoy watching cooking programmes on TV.
Growing up, I've been more or less independent, so I had to learn how to make my own meals right? And who'd expect that I'd enjoy making meals? Of course, I've said it many times, cooking is fun, but cleaning up is one big fat biatch lah.
Mandatory camwhoring for a bit.
Picking at the crabsticks to get them into strips.
The fake poses with foodstuff. Chefs for the day...
Faridah like some makcik like that.
But obviously having fun!
Here, Faridah says, "We should never waste food,"
SO we proceeded to finger-lick clean the remnants of sauce in the saucepan...
Then this was just very cheap and skill-less because we just drenched chicken fillets with BBQ sauce. But it turned out really good cos yours truly pan-seared it well. *smug*
Our creamy alfredo with crabsticks and mushrooms.
Faridah and her lightning reflexes grating the block of mozzarella cheese. W00t! Lunch is served!
And some more mandatory camwhoring. All looking rather displeased. Because as they say, hungry people are angry people.
And I don't have a photo of our final lunch turn-out. I mean, it's common sense right. With three hungry people and three plates of Fusili Spirals with Crabstick and Mushroom in Creamy Alfredo Sauce, do you think the first thing on anyone's mind is, "LET'S TAKE A PHOTO!!!"?!
P.S. Photos also on Facebook photo album. Here.
